Our outfitters have access to some of the best free-range hunting grounds on both public lands and private concessions on both the North and South Islands of New Zealand. We specialize in tahr and chamois on the South Island and Red Stag and Fallow deer on the North Island. Other species available include wild pigs and goats. The South Island hunts are generally spike camp or backpack style hunts. The North Island hunts are lodge based, with the use of ATVs to cover ground during the hunts. With the absence of natural predators, New Zealand boasts high concentrations of all these species. Our guides are experienced taking both rifle hunters and bowhunters. These are free range hunts for wild animals, not game farm animals or high fence operations.
